I’m planning to attend Paris Design Week. It’s not every year that I have the chance to be there at the same time it’s happening but, this year, I’ll not miss it for anything. Therefore I’m here to share with you what I’ll be doing there, where I’ll be at and what I’ll be experiencing.
The eighth annual Paris Design Week will take place from Thursday 6 to Saturday 15 September 2018. For ten days, the event invites French and international professionals and the general public to discover the best showcases of design in Paris.
One of the Top Events taking place during the Paris Design Week is the event Maison et Objet. That’s right, the ultimate lifestyle and design event comes back to Paris with a new challenge, one that seeks to completely overhaul its structure, more specifically its sectors: Maison and Objet.

The most extraordinary thing about Maison et Objet Paris is that it is constantly reinventing itself, year after year! In every edition, whether it is in January or September, it brings new ideas and inspirations throughout and offers it’s guests a whole new experience! Due to the diversity in the world of interior design, a lot of challenge for specifies take form, and so in order to become easier to scout new ideas and inspirations, Maison et Objet has altered its Maison sector, which will now be divided into four new realms to be explored: Unique & Eclectic, Today, Forever, and Craft. All in all, more than 3000 Exhibitors will be featured at this event! Imperial Line (Hall 6 – Stand H35 – I31), Miacara (Hall 6 – Stand H115), Essential Home (DL Hall 6 | Stand N112 – O111), DelightFull (DL Hall 6 | Stand N112 – O111) and Covet House and PullCast (CH Hall 7 – Stand B52 – C51) will also be joining the luxury brands mentioned above in this amazing event!
What to do in Paris
The Covet Group opened last year a new luxury design space/showroom in Paris- This is the fourth luxury design space of its kind, following similar projects of the Covet Group in New York, London and Oporto. Just like those other projects, the brand new Covet Paris house it’s an elegant and magnificent place of luxury design that you simply cannot miss. This is an opulent palace of curated design that’s home to several high-end brands. As any great palace, it’s open for visits, including on weekends, so there is no excuse to miss a visit at this amazing house if you live in Paris, or if you are just visiting this amazing city. If you are an interior design lover, then this is an absolute must-see stop for you. And where can you find this house you ask? It’s located at 154 Rue des Rosiers, 93400 Saint-Ouen, Paris-France. During the Paris Design Week it will have plenty of activities so book a visit!
Where to stay and eat in Paris
If you don’t know where to stay during the event, and even having my place in Paris I was invited to stay on one of the best luxury hotels in the city, that one should most definitely experience while attending the event, so don’t waste another minute and start booking. I’ll be checking in the Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris (Address: 31 Avenue George V, 75008 Paris, France). And I know I already have a table waiting for me at the Le Jules Verne, with my name on it, just for the couple days of this event.
But this is just a pick of everything I’ll be doing. If you really want to follow my journey, keep up with my blog posts and follow my Instagram. I’ll be posting everything there!
