About nhow Marseille
Designed by local architects Claire Fatosme and Christian Lefevre, together with Italian architect Teresa Sapey, the nhow Marseille Hotel is a post-modernist hotel characterised by striking graffiti, neon lights and cacti.
Inspired by the infamous history of its location, the two local architects refused to ignore the poverty that characterizes this region. Although designing a luxury hotel. They decorated the 150 rooms with graffiti walls, created by mixing the styles and images found around the city. moreover, they worked with local artists to create the most perfect design for every room. Telling about the city, its past and present.
Sapey, on the other hand, designed the ground floor, characterised by dark, cavernous ambiences and original art pieces and designs. A combination of art and design hotel, and of design and luxury hotel. The visitors of the nhow Marseille Hotel walk through a neon tunnel bar vaguely resembling a church aisle, or a James Bond movie. But instead of eventually arriving at the altar, they are met by the sea. And wine.

According to the architects Fatosme and Lefevre, the hotel is a monument for the city, as well as for the changes that occurred and still need to. A rebel design hotel for a rebel city. An oasis of luxury living in what would not normally considere a luxury destination.
